Blogging my life with breast cancer, from suspicion to diagnosis to treatment. Now livin' the Stage IV Lifestyle!
Terminal Cancer can be funny. Just not for very long.
Wow! I have so much to look forward to. -_- Enjoy your hot Sunday! It's very hot in SoCal too, at least when I had hair, the sweat would stick to that, with baldness, the sweat merely slips onto my face and I'm one shiny dome...0
I went shopping today and saw a chemo sister. I wanted to talk to her but she was with a friend so I decided not to bug her. She was wearing a scarf identical to one I had worn, and I felt she must be so hot! It's over 100 here these days, I'm glad I don't have cloth on my head right now. I'd probably be like you Fshnvctm and go bald, but I don't have your pretty face.
ha ha....i can totally relate to the pills! i have one of those old lady pill boxes with compartments for morning, noon, evening & bedtime, 7 days a week. otherwise, i cannot remember if i've taken all i'm supposed to. in truth, most of what i'm taking are vitamins these days, but it makes it easier to keep track of.
i felt great the other day and didn't realize until the next morn that it was prob bc i'd forgotten to take my tamoxifen & beta blocker, in spite of the pill organizer.

If you have enjoyed my blog and want to donate but are afraid that I'm going to spend the money on political campaigns or plastic surgery, let me assuage your fears. Any donation made will go towards my son's college education. Be warned, there is no tax deduction here, consider it like buying a book, a continually updated but unedited book. A small percentage of what I receive yearly will go to StandUp2Cancer. Consider it entirely voluntary, I love you whether you donate or not. Now click.
I live with metastatic breast cancer. .
I was diagnosed 2009 with Stage 2 Her2+ breast cancer. Mastectomy followed, 6 rounds of chemo and a year of herceptin. A few months after I finished, cancer was found in my liver-incurable. I've done chemo after chemo, has my liver partially removed and did cyber knife radiation. Like all metsters, I'll be on treatment until I die.
I'm a former High School Secretary, wife, and mother of two great sons.
